CSRD for SMEs: From Pain to Gain

Are you grappling with any of these questions?

  • How can I, as an SME, adapt to the transition toward a sustainable economy?
  • How can I provide the sustainability information my large clients or suppliers are asking for?
  • How does the CSRD (Corporate Sustainable Reporting Directive) work, and what does it mean for my SME?
  • Where can I find guidance and tips to roll out a concrete action plan without spending a lot of money or time?

If you recognize yourself in any of these questions, this program is for you!

What Will This Program Bring to Your Business?

  • Inspiration: We make it enjoyable, simple, and interactive.
  • Easy-to-Follow Model: We walk through all the steps using a practical model.
  • Low Investment: In groups of 10 companies to keep the investment low.
  • Sustainability Report: The program includes a tool to help you create a simple, effective report, with our support.
  • Guiding Hand: In between sessions, you’ll spend about 10 hours on “homework” with customized help to keep it engaging.
  • Inspiring Locations: Locations chosen to spark sustainable thinking.

Why Does This Setup Work for Entrepreneurs?

We understand that entrepreneurs have little time, want to get started right away, and can’t invest excessive time and money in a "course." Here’s why our sessions work:

  • Practical: Focused on practical applications, not just theoretical insight.
  • Action-Oriented: Emphasis on hands-on implementation.
  • Guiding: Truly a helping hand.
  • Interactive: More engagement and collaboration instead of compiling stacks of documents.
  • In short: Help in translating strategy into a concrete report within 10 weeks.

Target Audience: SMEs that voluntarily want to report on sustainability (and do not meet the CSRD criteria of >250 employees, €50 million in revenue, or €25 million in total assets).

Since January 2024, an EU guideline has been available for SMEs that do not have to comply with the CSRD but wish to do so voluntarily to prepare for a sustainable future.

Why Us? Who Are We?

We are passionate about sustainability and believe that change is only possible if we work together. We are a sustainable specialist with extensive CSRD knowledge (Ulrike) and a successful exit entrepreneur (Karin). We have successfully driven sustainable transitions in our own businesses. As pragmatic idealists, we want to lend a helping hand to businesses, enabling them to participate in the circular economy at a relatively low cost.

Workshop Duo:

Ulrike de Jong (Partner Tosca Tribe: a tribe of sustainability specialists focused on strategy, implementation, and reporting (CSRD))
Karin Stoevenbeld (Exit entrepreneur, now speaker & sustainability champion at Clipper Interall, a pioneer in the EU sustainable gifts industry)

Investment: €2,500 per person (additional colleague: €1,500)
